HAKBot
Healthcare Assistance Kenya (HAK) is a humanitarian Non-Governmental Organization that helps the victims of Gender Based Violence all across Kenya by managing a Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Rapid Response System and Helpline. They wanted to find a way to scale their operations and bring a silent and anonymous way to reach them.
HAK-bot is a conversational AI that connects victims of GBV with local aid and guides those in danger to safety. It fights harmful practices such as FGM and child marriages by sharing knowledge and breaking down the beliefs that maintain the practices.

The anonymous data HAK-bot collects gives real-time information on topics our users are concerned about, the most needed services, and the bottlenecks that need addressing.HAK-bot is a progressive web application. It has an emergency button through which the user can call for help completely silently. HAK-bot can be used similarly to a familiar chatbot - it uses conversational AI to answer questions and a reduced location to give information on nearby services. HAK-bot has an educational section so that the user can learn more about the ways to prevent GBV and test their knowledge. HAK-bot is designed to work as a seamless part of the network Healthcare Assistance Kenya has built and is based on their own, locally assembled materials.
Dynamic Dashboard
The Dynamic Dashboard gives the stakeholders real-time analytics of the data our Smartbots produce. It is designed to be highly intuitive so that it supports the everyday work of people in NGOs, public officials, and decision-makers.
